Tonight while watching the biography channel featuring all of our Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates (all very flattering...) I got a lot of work done on my Grandpa Christmas caroler. Grandpa really is getting his groove on. Grandma is a little uptight with her strict adherence to rules and regulations. That is why she carries her songbook so she doesn't miss a note. Grandpa likes to let lose and I suspect he might even have a flask of brandy hidden in his pocket.The little ornament Granny elf is for a fellow crafter who sent me MANY art cards as a gift to help inspire me. I thought it was the least I could do to send her a Christmas ornament sculpture with an art card companion. I can't draw or paint that well so I will have to really focus to get her right!
I hope to finish them tomorrow but sometimes the real world throws such a monkey wrench in my plans!

I love how genital your caroler's look. They look like the perfect grandma and grandpa. Him whittleing and tinkering in the shed and her bringing out the fresh cookies. In fact I bet she never burns a cookie ever.
I can't wait to see these guys finished! Grampa rocks!
