Okay, I'm definitely on an Elf kick. I can't wait until they dry because all that is needed now is painting them (my favorite part!) One is quite the drunkard with his moonshine and two cups. I like to think he's offering servings to his friends (or me!) but I think he's nipping from the bottle.
The other elf is drinking a cup of apple cider and puffing from his pipe. He still looks like Gary Sinise to me and frankly it creeps me out a little... I just can't get Lieutenant Dan out of my head.
On a side note: last weekend I went to Knoxville's "First Friday" event where local artists exhibit their wares. Well, I didn't come home and get into the fetal because it wasn't my cup of tea (but still interesting.... kind of...) but yesterday I went to the Foothills Craft Guild show and it was FABULOUS! Goodness, the talent. There was one polymer clay artist and a couple of other people who made art dolls and of course I was just loving that! I think I'm going to make it my goal to get into this guild and hang out with these talented people and hope some of it rubs off on me!
Well, I need to go nurse a hang-over. Remember in my last post how much I LOVE red wine? Well, I'm not loving it this morning. A dinner out with the in-laws has left me weak and weary. Maybe some toast and a nap... yummy....

I am so loving your elves. They are so adorable. To much for words.
OMG, he does look like Gary Sinese! How funny is that? LOL I am lovin' your little elves...they are too fun. I can't wait to see what they look like when you get them all dolled up with paint.
Peace & Love,

You guys are too kind... you're going to inflate my ego and I'm going to start getting too big for my crafting britches!
well i have never seen anything like them... they have taken on their own characters as they are assembled and painted.

Ah ha, the pipe and the jug.
You go for that guild, girl! (But never the guilt, in any fashion.) I'd say your talent will rub off on THEM.
How's the old red wine head?
Wow those guys are going to be adorable! we are so different - I love to smash clay but HATE, HATE, HATE to paint :-(
I'm going to send you all of my unfinished work!
