Little Elf Ornaments in Progress

Okay, I love red wine. LOVE it. I try to have a glass every night before bed... thank goodness it is good for you!

So I have quite the cork collection and I've just been pondering all the possibilities. My beautiful sister-in-law said she wanted to cork a wall in her house with HER collection. I'm not that bold so I think I'm going to make a series of little elf buddies. I have a story forming in my mind about who these little guys are and where they come from...

So these are my first two. The one on the left looks a little too much like Gary Sinise for my liking... I may have to tweak him a bit. The one on the right I made at work when I should have been working on something dull and boring instead.

Now, I'm off to make a clay lion for a very angelic little boy. I'm nervous! This may be my biggest challenge!

See you tomorrow!

I love red wine, too...it just doesn't love me (the tanins in it give me migraines) so I have to stick with white/blush wines. Eh, that's okay...long as I can get me some wine. LOL

I love these little elfies. They are too precious.

Ya know, I adore everything you create. Everything. You're just an awesome artist. Yep, awesome.

peace & love,

Oh Barb! White wine is like POISON to me. Not only does it "make" me do crazy things but I wake up the next day feeling AWFUL!

You're awesome too!

And the other is a bit like Ed Asner!

Ornaments - what a great idea!

I fortunately, am an equal opportunity wine enjoyer.

Jannie, when you said I should make celebrity look alike elves, did you mean Gary Sinise and Ed Asner or am I missing the boat????

Wonderful little elves. I marvel at how you can make art out of things I wouldn't have even imagined.

Christopher will just love anything you make. He really is on a lion kick lately. It was dinos for awhile. When he was about 3 going on 4 he used to tell me he was part panther, then he'd growl to prove it.

Oh, I HOPE he loves it Sha-Marie. I don't even know your son but I adore him. I would have 20 little boys if my husband would give in!

Ooo yes, Jannie is right; one of them DOES look like Ed Asner! That's a good thing in my book though, lol!
